Who we are
Victoria Central Pharmacy, trading as Victoria Central Pharmacy, Victoria Central PCC, Mill Lane, Wallasey, Merseyside, CH44 5UF, is the data controller for information you give us through this website.
What we collect
Your name, contact details, address, date of birth and sex at birth; your height, weight and BMI; your answers about your health, medicines and allergies; and notes from your consultations.
Why we use it
To assess whether treatment is safe and suitable for you, to provide and deliver your care, to contact you about your consultation and treatment, and to meet our legal and professional duties. Our lawful bases are providing healthcare (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and Article 9(2)(h)) and complying with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Your answers are sent securely to our clinical system, used by our prescribers to review your request. We share information with our delivery partner (name and address only), and with your GP if you agree. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep clinical records for as long as the law and professional guidance require, normally at least 8 years after your last contact with us.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, and in some cases ask us to restrict or erase it. Email weightloss@victoriacentralpharmacy.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
